Introduction

JFK International Airport offers long-term parking and short-term Central Terminal Area (CTA) parking.

Short-term Parking

Central Terminal Area (CTA) parking is color-coded and adjacent to each of the terminals. Parking is extremely limited for Terminals 4, 5, and 6 and it is advisable to use the Blue Lot parking garage, where a frequent shuttle service operates to the terminals.

Long-term Parking

The long-term parking lot is four miles (six and a half kilometers) from the terminal area. The Howard Beach Station AirTrain operates between the Central Terminal Area and long-term parking Station "A" or Station "B" every four to eight minutes between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm, and every 12 minutes between 11:00 pm and 6:00 am. From Station "A" or "B" to the Central Terminal Area takes about eight minutes. Please allow at least 30 minutes to reach your terminal.

To drive to the long-term parking lot from the Belt Parkway (both eastbound and westbound), take exit 19, Lefferts Boulevard, and bear right, following the "Long-term Parking" signs.

From the JFK Expressway, bear right at the intersection after entering the airport and follow the "Long-term Parking" signs through the cargo area to Federal Circle to Lefferts Boulevard.

Parking for Disabled Travelers

For vehicles displaying a disabled person or disabled veteran placard, reserved spaces are available in all of the CTA parking lots near the terminals and also in the Blue Lot and the Green Lot parking garages. Disabled parking has the same rates as the long-term parking lot.
